About The Firm
The firm was originally founded in 1947 by Gene Brown, who started as a lawyer in Grants Pass, Oregon shortly after World War II. During the war, Gene served with the 101st Airborne Division and was involved in all of its major engagements. Gene continued to practice until 1986, adding attorneys and partners to the firm over time. The firm provided a broad range of legal services and its practice extended to Josephine, Jackson, Klamath, Douglas, Coos, Curry, and other counties.
In 1980, the firm purchased the present location, the historic George S. Calhoun house, located on the corner of Fifth and “A” Street in Grants Pass. The Calhoun House was constructed in approximately 1909 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for Josephine County Oregon. The firm renovated the Calhoun House to transform the historic building into office space while preserving the comfortable aesthetic.
The firm continues to be committed to professional excellence through diligent and thorough legal representation. With the assistance of a skilled staff, Frank will assist you with whatever your legal need, whether litigation or transactional, advice or representation.
